Energy Performance Certificates
EPCs for homeowners, sellers and landlords, with clear advice on how to raise your rating.
Find out more →Domestic Energy Experts
From 1 October 2030, every privately rented home in England and Wales must have an EPC rating of C or above. The rule applies to existing tenancies as well as new lets. If your property falls short, you won't be able to legally let it, and you could face fines of up to £30,000 per property. We help you reach a C before the deadline.
Our Services
Every project starts with a survey. We tell you where your home stands, what would improve it and which grants can help pay for the work.

Find out more →Boiler Upgrade Scheme
The government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme has been extended to 2030. It gives homeowners and landlords in England and Wales a grant towards replacing a gas, oil, LPG or electric heating system with an air source heat pump. We handle the whole process for you, from the grant application to the installation.
£9,000
Off-gas properties heated by oil or LPG
£7,500
Properties in gas areas
The £9,000 rate for oil and LPG homes is currently confirmed until 31 March 2027. Grant amounts as of October 2026; we confirm what your home qualifies for at survey.

EPC
An EPC rates your home from A to G and lists the improvements that would raise its rating. You need one to sell or let a property, and it is the starting point for most grant applications.
Information for Landlords
The Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) set the lowest EPC rating a privately rented home can have. We assess your property, plan the works and coordinate the funding so you meet the standard.
| Current minimum | EA rented home must be rated E or above, unless a valid exemption is registered. |
|---|---|
| From 1 October 2030 | CAll private rented tenancies in England and Wales must meet band C, including existing tenancies. |
| Cost cap | £10,000 per property. If C still can't be reached after this, an exemption can be applied for. |
| Penalties | Fines of up to £30,000 per property, per breach. |
| Existing certificates | An EPC rated C issued before 1 October 2029 remains valid for compliance until it expires. |
Based on the government's confirmed rules as of September 2026. Check GOV.UK for the latest guidance.
